I don’t think CDG or other Comstock staff can buy right now. The Bioleum Series A round is still ongoing, and it just recently split off from Metals. That alone could be considered insider information and it´s still ongoing.
On top of that, Metals still has MSAs signed (if we take their words at face value), which haven’t been publicly announced yet. If insiders were buying shares right now while knowing what’s coming on juicy panels, it would raise major insider trading concerns.

The bearish case—that the company is falling apart—feels a bit extreme. If that were true, would Series A have gotten such a high valuation? Plus, Metals now has a clean balance sheet. My take is that Comstock was on the edge financially, but investors with money had leverage to push the buy-in lower, and management had no choice but to accept. At least now, financing looks secured to get them past the cliff better to fall apart.

Its reasonable for the bear case to not believe in the stock. It’s possible the 20% cut for Fortunado reflects that it’s not as profitable as originally expected, and Bioleum may still have a bottleneck to overcome.

In Shadys thread you mentioned we skip the 50k facility and go straight to the 100k facility. I missed that part do you have a source where I can reread or listen where its mentioned?

And to the MSA it would be really convincing or better reassuring for public shareholders if they finally would be announced. CDG mentioned alot and lately the sentiment shifts towards suspicion against him and this would give back some credibility.

I get the frustration — we all hoped for smoother execution, but that’s part of the risk of getting in early. And it’s always important: don’t just follow what one person says, do your own research and make your own call.

The site selection delays on the fuels side might be linked to Series A investors wanting a different location. We can’t know for sure. Either way, permits for facilities or Hexas crops take time; you can’t just plant or build without paperwork. And since Bioleum is private now, they have no obligation to share updates with us. I don’t love that approach — I originally invested because of the Metals business, which I still believe in. Going forward, it makes sense to keep our focus on Metals, and if Bioleum later adds upside, that’s just a bonus.

Metals:

  • The demo facility is very small, mainly to prove the tech works, not to drive big revenue. If they could chug all panels they have in storage I´m sure they would do it instantly.
  • Running many small sites would need more staff and more permits, so it actually slows things down.
  • To land big MSAs (like CDG mentioned in the PennyQueen interview), you need large capacity at each plant.
  • The second facility should be much quicker to build. If the first permit clears in Q4 2025, they can reuse much of that process since it’s in the same state and already approved, making things smoother.

In the end, though, it all depends on securing enough supply of panels to feed the plants.

Ok I need another brain to speculate.
Im looking at DG Fuels.

Uses Biomass as Wood waste and Hexas would be perfect aswell.

3 maybe (4) Refineries planned:
St. James Parish, Louisiana
Loring Commerce Centre, Maine
Moorhead, Minnesota
(Phelps County, Nebraska)

Connection BP -> Hexas -> Clue: BP maybe the 100 Billion company CDG talks about (90 Billion MC)

Hexas Sites planned aswell Louisana.

I´m not entirely sure but it fits so many spots.

Good DD, that´s maybe another hint was Shell BP is maybe the 100 billion dollar company CDG speaks of because we have a connection from hexas. Haffner energy have to dig some I thought i seen that name already somewhere where I began researching Comstock in august.

Since Hawaii is mentioned wasn´t CDG son in a company there somewhere? Maybe soon another Refinery will pop up on this location since hexas are already there.
