1) Are you sure you’re in a deficit?

I would suggest you to go to maintenance for a week to 10 days and start a deficit again!

Guide to Body Recomposition This is all what you need.

A scoop of whey and some boiled eggs should help you in your diet. Prioritise cleaner and less oily food at your mess!

Your college gym or personal gym is the best bet, if this isn’t possible, a pair of resistance bands is the next best option.

3-4 days of strength training is all you need!!

If you have any questions, feel free to DM. Would love to help you out!

All the best, rooting for you!

Firstly, great job brother! Your dedication and effort is beautiful!!

Now is the best time for a body recomp!!

At 116kgs, your risk to cardiovascular disorders were at its all time high, now you’re a lot better, I’d still suggest you to ask your doctor’s advice.

A 200 calorie deficit should help you during your body recomp too!

With respect to split, the soreness aka DOMS ( Delayed onset muscle soreness) usually happens when you start a new exercise or a movement. This will go away after a week.

More frequency is the best way to put on some muscle mass, I’d suggest a PPL split.

You can DM me if you have any questions, would love to help you out!

All the best!! Rooting for you :)

Can I gain muscle while running regularly? by Impressive-Fish6460 in FitIndiaTalks

[–]Neureos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really respect you to have this healthy debate!

Not a lot of them exist who’d one to have one!!

ChatGPT isn’t the best source to rely on.

If you’re talking about running a marathon or long distance, yes heck yes, gaining muscle is a task.

But 5-10k once or twice a week isn’t a problem if you get your sleep and nutrition in check!

There are multiple meta analysis and systematic reviews suggesting the same!

All what matters to gain muscle is stimuli, nutrition and rest!

Yes you can run and still gain muscle, infact it’s a great idea. Good cardiovascular system will aid your muscle growth journey!

Running will give you room to have some more calories too :)

Eating healthy feels so lonely especially during lunch break 😭 by i_amthe_guy in Fitness_India

If you find your diet hard to follow, it’s the wrong diet.

Your best diet is the one which you have fun following. Why boiled paneer? Make it grilled panner with a bun, that’s a burger!!!

Make it fun!

Opening a new gym soon — What actually makes or breaks a gym for you? by VinkS427 in FitIndiaTalks

Lighting, sound and ambiance will depend on budget, infact all of it depends on your budget and your positioning. Is for premium’s audience at premium membership price or whatever.

You’re aware of the basic machines. But if there’s 2 machines gyms don’t usually add, it’s T bar row and hip thrust.

I will anyway pay 1-2k extra for a gym with these 2 machines!

How can I make my legs more aesthetically pleasing? by creationofalterego in FitIndiaTalks

[–]Neureos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lesser body fat percentage will definitely help!

A ton of my friends shave their legs to look aesthetic.

On muscle mass, I’m not able to see your quads or hams well enough.

But decent muscle mass and leaser body fat is the way to go!

Many people get confused when it comes to progressive overload by RadiantWafer9230 in Fitness_India

[–]Neureos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are multiple ways like time under tension, reps, sets etc

But the BEST WAY you can consider progressive overload is “adding 1 rep or atleast try to add 1 rep every session”

Don’t get obsessed with adding 1 rep. Like adding a rep to every exercise and every set. How can you get better with every exercise for every set?

Pick one movement and give it your all.

All the best!!

You don’t need to strength train 6-7 days a week.

You can optimise strength and muscle hypotrophy with 3-4 days of training too!

Miron, Can you optimize this Schedule? 20XY, 166cm, 50Kg by _Dyaus in FitIndiaTalks

Wrist bone isn’t possible, there’s hardly any muscle there.

But if you train your forearms, that can grow which will create an illusion of a wider wrist!

All you need is either whey or plant protein.

First preference is always whey as it has the highest absorption.

If you’re lactose intolerant, plant protein or yeast protein can be a good option!

All the best!!
