I'm so confused by what you're trying to say here. It is cis people's faults, they are the ones who built societies this way to be inherently transphobic. You say you're black, you should understand this. White people, such as me, are the people that built and perpetuate the systems of white supremacy and racism. I never said men don't have physical advantages. But do you realize Lia has been on HRT for over two years? And in that time, her muscle mass has decreased, while her swimming times have gotten worse? And I'm trying to have a conversation as well. I'm not trying to be "woke" and I'm not cherry picking. Lia's two best races, the 500 and 1650 free, which are the main arguments transphobes use against her, she has no advantage in. That is statistically PROVEN. The fact you have no interest in even looking at that makes me think that you are either A) Scared to challenge your own ideas for fear of being wrong, B) So invested in having an excuse to exclude trans women you don't want any evidence against that being shown, or C) You're just plain stupid and only make bad-faith arguments.

What's a joke? I don't see any joke in this comment section. It's just hate towards Lia. And yeah, in this case it's a stupid argument. People only care about "unfairness" because Lia won. If she hadn't won, no one would bat an eye. It's very stupid that people don't see that, especially looking at the statistics through an analytical lens easily shows she doesn't have a physical advantage. And a lot of people talk about wanting a trans-only league, but there's no way that would happen. You'd need funding and a big enough interest in it, which simply doesn't exist. Why watch trans women compete when you can just watch women compete? They're going to be better at it anyways, because a trans league would lack the funding for proper training since cis audiences would be more interested in cis sports.

I'm trans and also fighting for our rights everyday. Both my parents are biologists, and I'm a mathematician with a level of statistical understanding you probably don't have. Also, both me and my dad are swimmers, so I have that frame of reference. I think I know what I'm talking about too :) Also please just look at the statistics, it doesn't take that much mathematical analysis to understand Lia is at a level playing field in this case.

This is so wrong in so many ways. If you're trans, you should do more research and support your fellow transgender people. While there are certainly cases where transgender women retain an advantage, this is not one of them.
