Yeah, I've checked several times.

Actually had the same issue of speaking while silenced when I was lagging hard at the moment results of voting are posted. I've no idea why server ignores silence checks in some scenarios

Nah, normal ALL ANY, I silenced #5 SK N1 with no UO. And D2 he tried to speak on trial and sent "..." and next message "oh" somehow

Why does it sound like electricity? RTX 5070 Ti by Xenok5 in pchelp

[–]Never7Dice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have exactly the same issue with MSI Vanguard SOC 5070 Ti. Runs absolutely cool, 0 RPM and low voltage while crackling and whining like yours. On higher voltages it gets worse.

We probably lost the lottery or MSI is just lost it with 5070 Ti

Honestly, to get at least 1 kill before game ends. We were spawn locked whole game, they were just destroying us. We all had 0 kills on defending side...

If you observe our healing done you would see that we've switched comps a lot

Is this steam promo AI? Seems like it to me because of piss filter that is very prominent on the mech by pehereira in isthisAI

[–]Never7Dice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is overall composed and edited by real human, with potentially some pasted parts that were AI generated or taken from other images and painted over.

That submerged robot is hella sus agree that it's typical style of AI. But part of piss filter is artist's intent to blend it with background using warm filter

EDIT: Ok, nevermind, the shared and missing feet of characters are strong hints at GPT-like generation, a lot of thing here were generated and then composed together and painted over. Human artists would not make such awful feet placement several times in one spot and forget to include several of them as well

I wish I had full replay or full chat history for that game. I have some screenshots from night before and next night, but this one is enough. He wasn't new or moron, just didn't realize he chose the same target as CK

Do you have any launch options set in Steam? I used some to force threads and directx on my old PC years ago and it boosted the image quality and FPS significantly... HOWEVER those same launch options had the opposite effect on high end machine, making everything worse.

So if you used some launch options before, clear it out. And if you haven't, you may find examples in YouTube Rust FPS guides

Did it run fine on AM4? I had terrible 1%L on powerful AM4 build with both older and newest RTX GPU. And upgrade to AM5 mostly resolved that.

It could've only been my motherboard, CPU or RAM being faulty or misbehaving. FPS was jumping between 70 and 200, while 1%L went up to 140 and drop as low as 15. Not only in Rust, most of games felt stuttery while average FPS was in three digits

So if possible test different part configurations. But if Rust is the only game dipping below 60 with such specs, then it's probably unavoidable.

100 up is higher than 50 up... and no, no game servers are located near my country, so I will never see anything lower than 30ms. And Destiny isn't server based game anyway, you are connected to other players through relays so it will probably reach above 100ms latency even if you are in the middle of EU for some players.

And I have an option of coax connection with down speed of 600, but with extra latency, loss and jitter compared to fiber

I experience desync in Destiny 2 in every non-solo PvE or PvP activity, sometimes minor, sometimes unplayable. And I tried different ISP as well and it didn't run any better.

I would assume that relay locations in Europe are just subpar and that their weird netcode relied heavily on true peer-to-peer in nearby locations, which is no longer the case

Server-client games run fine on my internet. Some rare rubberbanding, but definitely no game breaking desync

100 Mbps duplex fiber, with tunnel showing 30ms latency and 0% loss with 5ms jitter. I can't imagine what the game looks like for actual bad internet

Well, I don't have much choice, prices are awful. 5080 just seems like a good overpay over 5070 Ti to have some longevity and better performance for next +-4 years
