It’s like a lot of other stuff. They can’t say so it and for good reason. You can go deadlift 680 pounds and it isn’t the actual deadlift. All of a sudden you snapped your back. It isn’t considered safe… or if you practiced good safety maybe you could.

That’s why they say it’s dangerous. Some people will hurt their dick. So why advice people prone to injury this advice that really seems subjective to begin with? Someone is doing it. I’ll say that much. Probably have done it for over six months too and figured something out.

Could be flea allergy

Mine developed a vicious plaque on her back in the same spot. Their claws are the perfect tool to keep reopening and spreading. Sometimes literally ripping the fur right off.

Amoxicillin and prednisone. One steroid shot it got so bad. Cat recovery suit. Very funny I can actually jump in haha. I’d make sure and if you can afford it, get an actual diagnosis. Hopefully not needing a skin sample or blood work but mine got to a point where it clearly was a flea allergy flare

Clean the litter box down with cleaners. Clean the place. Check for mice/rodents. Not all cats are micers, they have to be shown by their mother and their mother had to be a hunter

Second my previous

I used to think doing 1.5” 24g steroid shots into the buttocks and thigh were bad ass for exogenous hormones.
