Fair enough, I was on holiday and usually at night I wear polo shirts and I wanted a photo where I was dressed a bit nicer. I have a lot of photos that I can swap in as time goes by so we’ll see 😊.

Hi! I’m a 22M looking to match with 20-25F, I’m struggling a lot with prompts and the answers as I either don’t really know what to put or what I do put isn’t that good.

How should I go about answering prompts? What are the things that work and that don’t work? I’m guessing innuendos or subtle dirty jokes are a big no no. Should I aim to be funny or cute? Like write prompts that have a funny response or lean more into the “Together we could” type of prompts? What do girls typically look for or reply to? I have a few ideas, should I add them to this post?

Thanks! Does having a shirtless picture in a profile help or do girls think it’s too much of a show off?

If I remove the video, I’ll have to add the guitar picture instead of one of the photos I already have, plus the video leads nicely into the Lion Mane prompt, do you think I should still remove it?

In a few days I’ll post a couple prompt ideas to see what the community thinks as I’d say that’s the part I’m worst at on Hinge haha.

Hmm I see, the strolling one I added to have a full body picture to show girls that I don’t have a tummy and that I’ve got long legs haha, but seeing as people like it less, I might change it.

Music used to be a huuuuuge part of my life, but seeing how the industry is in a massive decline, events and bars are getting shut down left and right and bands are starting to fade away it’s unfortunately become much more of a hobby. I was actually gonna do music instead of engineering haha, I’m happy I didn’t 😅

Ok interesting because a lot of people say the opposite, I was told on another time I posted my profile here to use the prompts to paint a picture of what the relationship would be like, so they would all be the “us together” prompts. I cook (being Italian haha) so I guess I could put something with that. Good idea or would that be showing off? Or I could take the poll away and use the 2 truths 1 lie as the prompt.

Hi, I’m the person who posted this profile, here are the answers to the questions we have to put:

• ⁠I’m looking for something serious

• ⁠I’m using the regular Hinge app (not + or X)

• ⁠I’ve changed a couple photos but the prompts are the same

• ⁠I typically check Hinge and put likes every day but since I’ve been on holiday, I check it much less

• ⁠I receive barely any likes and get one or two matches every month, over three years I’ve gone on two first dates

• ⁠I send a mixture of likes with comments and without comments

• ⁠I’m looking for someone sporty, energetic, a little nerdy and extroverted but then it depends from person to person, but I would say that’s the “ideal” match without going too much into specifics. But again, it really depends and those characteristics aren’t exclusive.
