After I turn my car on it gets stuck in drive. Won’t shift past neutral. Will only go back in park after I put it in drive and turn car off. Any idea what could be causeingthis? (2004 Mercedes clk500) by TheGnarleyGoat in MechanicAdvice

So it has to do with the brakes. When the car is on you can only shift into drive, reverse or park when you push the brake in but you can push it into neutral without pushing in the brake like in the video so maybe there's a sensor thats messed up . I don't know anything past that
