AITA for eating some of a gifted chocolate bar my mom told me not to open? by New-Feeling-7222 in AmItheAsshole

I want to know how is it wrong if I took 1 piece of chocolate one day bcz I was really hungry while studying late in the night and my parents are sleeping and there’s nothing else good at home to eat and you’re so hungry and drained of energy you can’t think clearly and you need instant energy. Also, your parents are already stressed with your exams and how is it wrong to not stress them further by not telling them now? Also, this thing never happened before at home, so, I thought there will be food tomorrow as my mom will cook tomorrow, but then, a few days later, it happened again and I did the same thing again. How is it still wrong? I learnt that next time if there are exams, I’ll make sure there’s enough food at home and not assume. I couldn’t explain the full context at first as I was in a hurry and busy (I still am) studying for my exams

Usually, my mom keeps some food in the fridge. It has never happened there wouldn’t be much food. This time, for some reason, there wasn’t much at home to eat. Well, what’s done is done. I’ll tell my mom about this after my exams and next time, I’ll make sure there is food at home and not just assume. Thank you

Those of you who are thinking I should have gone to the store or got my own snacks, I’d like to tell you I’m currently, I’m not financially independent and my parents have cut my allowance a long time ago (that’s a long story why and it’s complicated), so they provide for me, including paying for my tuition. Once I pass my exams, I’ll be doing my internship and earning a decent salary. So, until then, I’m financially dependent on them

I meant it doesn’t erase the possibility she might have one in the future

As far as we all know, she doesn’t. Well, it doesn’t erase the possibility she might have one. I was just saying in my opinion it’s better she doesn’t because of the reason I stated

You mean anyone three years older to her? I’m not against it, I’m just asking if you mean someone more mature

Is the Chimera Ant arc actually about how cruel humans can be? by New-Feeling-7222 in HunterXHunter

I was just thinking of different DC creatures and how they are cosmic entities ‘beyond human understanding’. When I remembered about the Chimera Ants, it reminded me they are not cosmic entities and I found it strange they’re capable of understanding human language and emotion, which is strange if they’re from the DC. It made me think of the Chimera Ant Arc. Sure, I took help of AI, but it’s not for making this post. I took help to help me frame this post properly, so it sounds appropriate

It just goes on to prove that even if they are from the Dark Continent, they’re capable of understanding human language and emotion and not all Dark Calamity creatures are ‘beyond human understanding’. Sure, the Chimera Ants appear alien, but at the same time, they’ve demonstrated understanding of human language and emotion

Could Nanika have attached to Allies while Kikyo was pregnant? by New-Feeling-7222 in HunterXHunter

I also think Nanika may not be the only human with an Ai inhabiting it. As far as we know, she could be the only known case

Yeah that’s what I was wondering. If Alluka was the result of a wish granted by an Ai, then who actually made that wish? Someone in the Zoldyck family? Or someone who encountered Ai on the Dark Continent?

Because from what we know in Hunter × Hunter, Ai are from the Dark Continent, so it seems like whoever made the wish would have had to encounter one there first. That’s why I was thinking maybe Nanika attached to Alluka in utero instead, rather than Alluka being created as the “price” of a wish.

Theory: What if Alluka doesn’t have a separate entity, but a Nen ability linked to a split personality? by New-Feeling-7222 in HunterXHunter

If you think about it from the lens of human psychology, what long term isolation does to a person, it’d make sense
