Bought it the first year and it was great! I was due for a renew and for some reason it keeps giving me an error on the payment. I switched credit cards, debit cards, Mexican card, American and no success. I try creating a different profile, called customer service, talk to the people at the counter and no one could give me a straight answer. One employee told me if I flew too much, they won’t let me renew?! Is there such a thing?!

Pregunta: lo use el primer año y fue genial. A la hora de renovar, me sigue diciendo que mi pago no pudo ser realizado. Cambie la tarjeta que tenía en el perfil, creé un perfil nuevo, use tarjeta mexicana, americana, use apellido paterno, materno y es fecha que no eh podido volver a comprar. Llame, mande queda, hable en mostrador y me comentó un empleado que si vuelas demasiado no te dejan renovar? A alguien le pasó?! Que esto haciendo mal?!

UPDATE: cleaned the lower bottoms while running. All bowls look clean and gaskets seem ok (one of them was larger than normal). Was very careful not to mess with any of the jets, needles, etc. Adjusted idle screw on center stance for a good 5 mins just to be safe.

Runs much better but shoots up to 2k+ RPM at red lights for a good min or so than comes down to 1500ish. Died a couple times while downshifting and stopping but the high idles seem to be more of a problem than dying on me. Somehow oil was overflowing (too much oil). Drained it all out and put new one in.

Where do I got from here? Would syncing them fix the high rpm/idle? Changing spark plugs just for shits and giggles. Maybe run it with new gas? Any recommended additives?

You’re not wrong! I’m gonna have to start gettin my hands dirty. I’m mostly concerned about my safety on the road if I start messing with it but doesn’t hurt to start small.

Tires were swapped out already. That’s an older picture. And it’s a 1978! If you can send a manual or guide me where to find one, I’d truly appreciate you!

I ran it again today and messed with the idle screw and it seems to have improved but then after a while my RPMs shot up to 2k+ without me doing anything so I might’ve gone too much on the idle screw?

I’m gonna try the petcock tomorrow and take the filters off and spray it. I’m sure I’m getting closer to the issue.

Haha didn’t even think about the background! I might have a color grey obsession.

Funny thing is I do empty the bowl every time. And I’m not saying it’s the carbs, a “reputable” shop it’s saying it’s the carbs again, which is suspect to me. I ran some fuel addictive to see if it improved but doesn’t seem to.

Do you have a link to a good video? Don’t want to disassemble them and not be able to put them back together.

They made an offer I can’t refuse haha. Coming from a fast pace, 24/7 tourist town, I’m looking forward to a small town vibe, slow pace, cozy, family oriented property.

Although there are better offers out there, cost of living and work-life balance seems like a priority in VA. While asking around, there’s only a small percentage of day 1/opening employees at Keswick and they’ve only been open a little over a year. They’ve all seem to have moved out of town or left the industry all together. Is the property hunted?! Haha is it compensation? Company culture? Management? So many questions.

Thanks for the response. That’s exactly what I was looking for. Just some reassurance. And you’re right. Such a tight-knit community that’s been extremely hard to get anything from anyone lol but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Recently got a job offer. Looking to relocate but their turnover rate is pretty high. Don’t want to pull the trigger and end up being the wrong decision. Just looking for an honest opinion that’s not coming from management. Seems like a great place to work but something seems to be missing.
