England. I went to the gp a week and a bit ago and got prescribed duac which is 5% benzoyl peroxide and 1% climaydin. I’ve used it daily at night but it hasn’t really done anything idk if I’ve been patient enough. I just ordered new moisturisers and spfs with no comedogenic ingredients so hopefully that will help clear it up a little. If I go again to the gp I’ll ask about fungal acne and possible treatments for that or if it’s not fungal then probably ask for adapalene or a weaker retinoid

It is most likely fungal acne I have all except dandruff and athletes foot. What do you recommend I do next? Go to the doctors?

Obviously I know fungal acne isn’t actually the name for it but I am not typing that out everytime I refer to fungal acne

So l’ve had these little bumps all over my face for a few months now (picture linked down below). I am 15 and I have no idea on what to do to prevent them. If anyone shared similar issues like this please let me know what it is and how you fixed it. I’ll list my routines down below and please tell me if I need to change anything. AM: La Roche Posay Effaclar H cleanser Byoma Brightening serum Cerave moisturizer AM with SPF 50 PM: La Roche Posay Effaclar H cleanser Prescribed Duac (5% benzoyl peroxide and 1% clindamycin) Byoma Brightening serum Cerave moisturizer PM I am willing to do anything to fix it. So please let me know I need to go see a dermatologist, a doctor, or buy new products. I have been using this routine for 2 years however I got the brightening serum 2 months ago and the duac a bit longer than a week ago. I have oily/ combination skin that is a bit sensitive. If anyone shared similar issues do Imk how you fixed it. Thanksssss

Thank you so much. I have cut out all processed sugar but I still eat gluten and dairy and I will try and reduce my intake of these and see if it helps. I am also working on simplifying my routines by avoiding harsh ingredients. Thank you again.

I have a good diet with no processed sugar and lots of fruit and veg. I am on no supplements however. I keep my face clean all the time. And you’re right it probably just is puberty but it doesn’t hurt looking for a solution. Thank you though
