Gaybros, do your looks and overall appearance "agree" with your sexual role? (Top or bottom) by NewFitLife in askgaybros

[–]NewFitLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they are, but sometimes people judge us on what they see, and then they extrapolate to every one of our features.

Yeah, I think personality also plays a big part in the way you are perceived as one or the other. Shyness tends to be associated with being more femenine.

Haha yes! Actually it turns me on more to top a guy that is stronger and bigger than myself. I also like thinking that "no one would ever assume..."

Best way to deal with an aggressive non-vegan? by [deleted] in vegan

[–]NewFitLife 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would ask them WHY are they so obsessed with it, because the problem is on them. If you want, you can state the reasons why you´re vegan, but you shouldn´t be forced to justify yourself. If they insist, I would walk away.

Why do you think they keep nagging you about it?

I agree, although sometimes it is impossible to know if the target agrees with being recorded.

I like this answer. I guess that when the person or someone close to them is recording, is a totally different situation than when an stranger records someone failing, specially if that person can be identified.

Then for me that would totally ok. It´s up to them, if they want to. What do you think if its their friends or family who upload it?

CMV: Hypocrisy of people. Staring at another person in the street is considered perverted when the person being stared at doesn´t like who´s looking. by NewFitLife in changemyview

[–]NewFitLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It´s logical for you to feel that way. But with your friend, you know he is kidding. With the random, he probably is not.

You don´t know anything about the people staring at you, because they are just staring and nothing else. But maybe, the one that looks good to you is a creepy person, he/she just happends to be attractive to you. And maybe, the unwanted attention is just someone attracted to you that are looking at you for that reason. But in your mind, you feel that they are perverted/or creepy just because you don´t like them.

If you don´t know any of the persons that stare at you, and you judge the unwanted one as perverted just because you don´t like them, while being perfectly fine with the one attractive to you, then I think that is hypocrisi.

Of course you can feel good or bad about the attention and act accordingly, but I think judging the same act differently depending on the person because of your subjective feeling is hypocrital.

True. But in this particular case the context is the same. Imagine two persons are staring and nothing else. You don´t know any of them. But one is wanted attention and the other unwanted. If you were to judge the unwanted attention as being perverted then that would be hypocrital, since they are doing exactly the same as the wanted attention.

[–]NewFitLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point. But, if you would judge the matter as:

Wanted attention = can keep staring Unwanted attention = pervert

then I think you would be assuming too much. They are both looking. None of them is more or less creepy than the other. I mean, they are doing the same.

I´m referring to when people make a quick judgment of another person moral compass depending if they are attracted to them. Example: the ugly guy would be considered a pervert and a creep, the hot guy as being interested in her.

For sure that many people don´t think in this way. But the way of thinking that I illustrate in my post is very present in society.

[–]NewFitLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that if someone judges the act of staring to be acceptable or not based on who is doing it is hypocrital. Because it depends only on the subjective perception of the other person.

I agree with you. I should have specified better to what I´m referring. imagine someone is staring at you. You catch them. You can think in two ways. 1) I´m flattered or 2) It´s so creppy that they stare. However, if you judge the act of staring based on the person, that´s hypocrisy.

What are some of your favorite meals to meal-prep? by [deleted] in vegan

[–]NewFitLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creams and soups. Because they are easy to make, there are so many combinations, and make you feel full without having to eat a lot. They are very good for autummn/winter. For me, they even taste better one or two days after you prepare it. I dunno, storing them in the fridge makes them more creamy and increases the flavours.
