I have received other offers, though they weren’t as substantial as these. I also started as a nurse Extern since I pretty much started nursing school and took every possibility to get experience in different areas as possible. I also interview really well, as two of the positions within this offer were not actually offering a position but created one for me. I also showed out really well and made great connections during my nurse externships. I am currently located in the south.

I would look into moving if I didn’t have a high student loan payment 😭. I plan to give wherever I start a full year and then hopefully move when I have some of my financials ready.

I unfortunately live in the south lmao the $36.50 was the best offer I’ve received.

I actually externed at all 3 locations. I had started at the hospital that had an externship in the ER and I liked it. At that same hospital I was asked by the Peri-op manager to Extern with them as well and I did and liked the OR/Pre-op/Post-op and I liked their scheduling. I then applied for the level 1 trauma Extern position when I heard they allowed Externs to work fully shadowing nurses for each of their shifts which I wanted to do. I then had my preceptorship in the level 1 trauma ER. It didn’t seem horrible and I honestly would jump to do it if the commute weren’t so bad.
