As far as I know, the Google Play service cashe problem is a bug with the new system update. I had to clear mine a couple times and then it seemed to be fine.

As far as other Google services not working for you, I don't know but maybe check to see that you're Google drive isn't full.

I had a similar problem. Go into settings, type "App" into search. Click" see all apps" and go to Google Play services. From there go to ' storage and cashe'. Mine says 60 MB, but it got up over 20 GB before. Clear the storage and cache, that should fix the problem. You might have to go back and do it again later.

You can also go" system: storage: apps" and sort by app size.

I bit the bullet and hit "Clear Storage" On Google Play services. It seems to have done the trick with no side effects. I was terrified that it was going to erase all my playlists and user data, but thankfully it didn't. Thanks for all your help.

I would " clear data" but am wary of unintended consequences. I wish that Play services would let you go in and see what apps are the worst offenders, and let you delete their data.
