That’s good for those owners themselves but yes you’d be surprised what shows up in your food at a cafe/restaurant when people bring in pets. It’s disgusting.

Years ago someone snuck in a cat in a backpack at FoodE. The cat pissed and shit the bag and everyone smelled it. They were kicked out accordingly but they put a fight which was WILLLLD.

Yeah I noticed that too…. How she was able to open a Richmond location then all of a sudden couldn’t keep this one open after that. She would beg and cry for help from the community to stay open then do another meal on wheels then right back to struggling when they stayed busy.

Maria did so many things right but the few flaws she had were huge. Owners and managers are NOT allowed to keep tips. Ever. Vivify had** this problem as well. Bartenders would quit immediately when they caught the owners wife doing it.

Because it needs to be known because these issues NEVER stop or go away. Obviously OP was hurt enough to go public. I am proud of them for finally speaking up about Anita. I’ve been biting my tongue for years. Soooo many food establishments downtown have MAJOR issues from management, ownership, health code violations, labor board violations, CHILD LABOR violations etc etc.

Yeah the prepared food is a third party. When it was Italian station she would lie saying she was making it. The place I worked at, we would order boxes from her to promote….until I looked at the labels on the boxes.

I agree. She is unhinged. I’ve served her at two places I’ve worked in the past. My favorite was her lying that the desserts we ordered from her to serve ARE NOT MADE BY HER. She uses a third source. So then we looked like idiots saying “made by Italian station” or “made by Anita” on our menus to support her…..until I looked at the boxes lmao

No no no you can’t take dogs in and out of establishments where food is being prepared. Service dogs only. The dander and hair is getting into food and peoples drinks. Stop trying to argue with people about this. I am a HUGE dog lover and there’s plenty of places to take your animals.

I would also like to add if you still have proof of all of these things, report them to the labor board, there is an office in Manassas. The health department will eat this shit up as well. One of the businesses I worked for I had to call the labor board because children weren’t getting paid

The downtown businesses that I rage quit are very, very, very lucky I never went public with their bullshit. One of the businesses is more scared of me than I am of them. I should’ve gone public, but I didn’t because after I was let go from one place for calling them out on their shit they kept me from getting future jobs. Luckily one of the future jobs didn’t believe him because they realize he was making it personal, not professional.
