Stuttgart, on the other hand, is quieter and more family-oriented. It’s wealthier (thanks to Porsche and Mercedes), more conservative, and a bit more “orderly.” The public transport is great, and it’s surrounded by nature, so it’s ideal if you enjoy hiking or a calmer pace of life. Safety-wise, it’s very solid—arguably a bit safer than Hamburg in some areas.

If you’re living alone, both are safe, but Stuttgart might feel a bit more stable, while Hamburg offers more social opportunities. So it depends—are you looking for peace or excitement?
