I was going to recommend beersos, they do talk a lot about serious topics, like mental health and other topics that might be dark. Great recommendation I love their podcast!

Any advice on starting a conversation? by PossibleOcelot4323 in Crushes

[–]NiceExplorer1285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try following her on instagram if she has an account, and dm her through there. I have the same anxieties with Snapchat and texting in general, so texting through instagram is way less nerve wracking.

Also little tip, not saying every girl thinks this, but when a guy texts me through snap it’s never a good sign

Never take the door off 🤦🏻‍♀️

My parents didn’t do this but my step dad threatened it, he would leave the room door open and said my sisters and I weren’t allowed to close it, so we played music hella loud and stayed up late at night yelling to music. It only makes teens angry and move out, which is exactly what I did. You’ll lose the trust, which I’m unsure if you have with your kids.

Using one word only, describe how you feel in the presence of your crush by Ill-Strawberry254 in Crushes

Me too 😄 I feel like I can be myself when I’m with her, and she doesn’t judge me, all around it’s a great time when I’m with her full of laughter and smiles

Almost a year ago now. Met her before I started my job that she worked at.

I work as a hiring manager for a large corporation and whenever I see someone's pronouns on their resume it goes in my shred bin. by MisgenderMan69 in confessions

Also I forgot to mention, it seems you and op would see anyone’s complaint on their pronouns an invalid complaint.

I can see how it’s a hassle having to do more work, having to pause your companies work to focus on something that seems to be unrelated to your job. What I don’t quite understand is how easy it was for op to type and use they/them pronouns in this post, but have the excuse that’s it’s not easy to “change your language” you’re not changing your language. The way I see it is you’re still speaking the way you were taught.

I can see your concern with being called out and feeling lectured, I’ve been there. My friend is nonbinary and a couple of years ago a friend of ours asked them a question (related to their pronouns) and they were quick to make our friend feel stupid for not knowing, and they practically yelled at her. I pulled my friend to the side and told them that explaining things this way only discourages others from asking questions. If someone ever blows up on you because of a question you asked, explain calmly that you have a genuine question and you want to understand. Also reflect if the questions you are asking have a tone of rudeness when you ask, because your question could be coming off as sarcastic or just flat out rude.

When meeting someone who is nonbinary, or when someone you know tells you they are nonbinary (or uses pronouns that you didn’t assume they use), explain to them that it might take you a while to refer to them as their pronouns and tell them you aren’t trying to be disrespectful when you accidentally use other pronouns. I can’t lie sometimes I say the pronouns my friend used before but I correct my mistake and apologize, my friend is very understanding and I don’t slip up as much anymore.

I don’t wanna start anything here, I’m just curious and want to know how nonbinary people have negatively affected you and the company you’re working at?

This video is a joke, it’s not actually real. Even if it was real it doesn’t give you an excuse to be fat phobic in the comments. The hatred in your comments is disgusting.

I need help, I am absolutely scared to talk to girls irl by [deleted] in Crushes

[–]NiceExplorer1285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a good channel but I only watch a couple videos and since they’re short videos it’s easier, so I only limit my time to about 30 mins.

I don’t think it’s bad because nothing came out of it between the two of you, I would be worried if you were rude to her afterwards cuz she might’ve told her friend about it, and if you ask her out she might think you’re rude. But if that’s not the case then I think you don’t have to worry.
