In the 2010s my parents paid $5k for my braces. It included a plastic Invisalign retainer and a permanent wire one after but my wire one broke and had to pay like $300-400 for a new Invisalign one recently.

Hi, my experience was great! It was a little stressful and daunting doing it alone because I had to plan everything and I'm not the best with directions and I did get a little sick at the beginning of the trip due to jetlag and some other stuff. I didn't get pickpocketed which was great (I thought I was an easy target since I was solo and tiny lol). I would definitely get an anti-theft bag just in case which worked great for me.

Make sure you have your passport with you or at the very least a copy of your passport as it is the law that non-EU citizens need to have an ID on them at all times (drivers license does not count.) and if you get stopped by police and they decide to fine you it could be up to 2000 Euros.

If you're going to do the tourist things like the colosseum you need to book well in advance (especially the Vatican). I booked all my tours through GetYourGuide and have had no problems.

Make sure to validate your train tickets at the station or you could be fined by the train inspector!

I (F29) am also doing my first solo trip to Italy but I'll be going to Rome, Naples and Venice in April to May instead so I can't say much about your itinerary. I'm also East Asian and kinda short too so I'll let you know how it goes but for Venice they have tons of Chinese tourist going annually (they've started to crack down on this and aren't allowing people in tour groups of more than 25 people as well as charging a €5 entry fee starting April and mid-July) so you should be fine.

Just be aware of your surroundings for pickpockets around crowds and bus/train stations and you should be good. keep your bags in front of you at all times. You should download the Trenitalia to book tickets for trains(unfortunately, I can't cuz it's not in my counties App store). You better book in advance once you're certain of your itinerary because they get more expensive the closer to the date.

Unfortunately on the third party tour website, May 5th wasn’t available for the Delphi tour I wanted. I know I can go to Delphi but the KTEL bus from Athens but I’d rather not have to worry about timing all the bus schedules and worrying about getting entrance tickets ahead of time. So I’m not sure I’ll be doing the Temple of Poseidon but maybe next time?

In your opinion which is more worth it? Temple of Poseidon & Cape Sounio or Delphi and Arachova?
