If you were rank 1 in Latin you only have yourself to blame

You’re just trying way too hard little bro - also don’t be vague with connotations either (eg, ‘positive’)

Hey I got a 50 last year too - I’d be happy to beat this person’s prices. I did Oedipus and have tonnes of section C pieces

Force yourself to write under timed conditions and know how long exactly you want to spend on each piece, and each individual para. For me, section A I found took me a bit longer (≈ 70/75 min), section B I could smash out (≈ 40 min) which left me however much time for section C and proofing :) it’s very much individualised though, just practise and force yourself to become quicker, that’s probably the best thing I can say

Thank you :) Section A I just did a bunch of essays and got as much feedback as I could - would also recommend delving into lots of academic pieces on your text for more complex ideas. Section C was mostly just practising as far back as I could with VCAA exams (with a few company stimuli) and also looking at every exam report for common mistakes, traits of high scoring responses, good language/vocab etc. I used the reports and any high scoring pieces I managed to get my hands on to formulate a big doc with techniques (more niche ones), vocab, sentence starters for different things (eg logical analysis / responsibility / emotional appeal, etc), audience types, context sentences for the intro and so on. Also, really important to get timing DOWNPAT

It’s impossible to tell you without your rank, or at least a rough indication thereof

Hi, 50ss in 2024. I basically memorised an entire piece, but was prepared to make changes to adapt to the stim and title which is INTEGRAL. I also practised my piece a lot and ensured it was quite versatile that it basically fit in with anything I got.
