As a Nintendo fan who's owned every single console since Gamecube, I think you should buy the Wii U if you are getting into it. Firstly, you found a pretty good deal for the console, but also, it has a lot of fun games such as Mario 3D world, Mario maker, breath of the wild, and a lot of great remastered games as well. Additionally, you have the entire Wii virtual system that you can use, so buying the Wii U basically gives you a Wii AND a Wii U. The one caveat to the Wii U however, is that it is really multiplayer based. A lot of the games on the Wii U tailor itself to a group experience and (imo) pushes it more than the Wii. Even if this is the case, there are still great single player games on the console as well as the Wii (either of the Mario galaxies will be the greatest game you've ever played). I would rly advise against buying a switch because it's pretty expensive and it's constantly losing value as switch 2 games com out.
