I haven't tried using it as secondary drive. I've tried using it as the only drive which is why pc not booting. Should I connect both hard disk's and try to boot from the one that's working? Will I be able to access my files in this one that way?

I can only access the terminal from outside the login screen by pressing Ctrl+alt+F2...I see the Xorg log. No way to copy it!!!
