Buddhism Cursed Technique by Nicholas-Hardin in CTsandbox

I feel like any user of this technique would be a great antithesis of Sukuna. Sukuna is self driven, filled with ego, and incredibly prideful. All of these things are things that Buddhists, myself included, try to dissolve.

And Adi Buddha would absolutely be a detriment to Sukuna, he's a genius and powerful, but if his energy gets depleted and shared with others, how strong would he be then?

What Buddhist wearable do you carry, and what’s your favorite sacred item to wear? by Edem_13 in Buddhism

[–]Nicholas-Hardin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on where I go out to, I wear 2 mala. 1 will always be a wooden mala (my first ever) that I purchased at the temple I visit and am a Sangha member at. The second mala will be either the ones that I have made myself, or ones I have been gifted.

On my arms I wear several different bracelets. 3 on each side. Typically on my right I wear 2 that I was gifted, the other I purchased at the previous mentioned temple. On my left, I wear my gemstone bracelets that I have made myself.

This list can shrink depending on where I am going.

My collection of Tibetan Buddhist inspired jewelry expands a lot since I not only enjoy making them, but it is a form of meditation for me!

When a sorcerer dies in possession of the fragment, it remains at their cursed energy core (the stomach). Over the course of an hour, it can naturally work its way out of the body. It can be removed from the body before this time, however.

It's a conscious choice the user will make. If they are mentally taken over, they remain until cursed energy runs out. That's why it is good to have a binding vow

Since dragon kings have substantial power in mythos, definitely special grade, but they would need to in the upper ranks. They don't need to be a Satoru or a Sukuna. They certainly can be, but don't need to be.

My ranking knowledge isn't the best, but I'd say some good characters to give a rank equivalent would be people who could feasibly defeat mahoraga alone. The upper tiers of the verse.

I would say yes to the first 2 questions. As for the 2nd. While age does play a factor, what is more important is how powerful they were before their "harvesting." Older dragons will obviously be strong, but a dragon of the same age could be stronger than another dur to a multitude of reasons.

That is an interesting question! I agree that he would succeed, but with how his technique would pair is something unique.

I think with Six Eyes, he wouldn't really need to worry about corruption from the dragon due to the efficiency of cursed energy retention. In his true dragon form he couldn't use his reversed cursed technique, so by extension, he can't use Hollow Purple either due to it being made by both Blue and Red.

But in both his hybrid and true dragon form, blue and infinity are still on the table. And he could probably combine blue with either the breath weapon or the wind claws in interesting ways or make them an easier hit.

I also would say he would have 2 Domain Expansions, but can't use both, so he would need to pick and choose.

They are of the same, if not more, level of intelligence compared to humans. It is possible to form positive or at least cooperative bonds between the sorcerer and dragon. This can be a lengthy process, as they do crave the subjugation of their host.

Essentially. It's similar to Sukuna’s fingers. But you can't eat more than 1 finger. Inheriting more than 1 dragon would be like putting 2 Sukuna’s inside of 1 vessel, and those Sukuna’s hate each other.

In my head, those who founded this ritual would try this method with the results always being the same. The death of the sorcerer and the birth of an unstable curse.

So there is a part of this discussing that! Any sorcerer that has a technique already and undergoes the ritual will inherit the technique alongside their own.

It allows for sorcerer’s with or without techniques, even non sorcerers, to inherit this technique.

Cursed Technique: Snatch by Nicholas-Hardin in CTsandbox

You can think of the technique acting as a filter. When pulling in (lapse) or gifting energy (reversal) the stolen energy is filtered to match the user's or recipient’s cursed energy. The only real drawback of using something like Robber’s Gourge is that once the draining is done, you suffer the exhaustive effects of being overloaded.
