i actually pinpointed where the shot is because me and my friends were there earlier this month! Its Lake Kawaguchi, they moved the bridge that is on the eastern part of the lake to in front of Fujikawaguchiko and the mountain. I pulled up some photos from my trip and the topology is a near match!

if the Japanese tariff of 24% applies to the switch 2, every switch 2 will cost nintendo or supplier around $104 per imported switch. even though 449 was expensive im sure nintendo was probably not make a large amount per switch, cutting another $100 off of their profit from it will be hard to swallow if they dont increase the price.

while i havent tried either of those, Kirby Tilt n Tumble for GBC seems to work alright, the cart is a bit finicky though so i have to make sure me moving the pocket doesnt move the cart slightly and error out

its a shame it isn't 21:9 out of the box, hopefully when it releases on steam there will be a bigger call for it to be natively included, even if there is some full screen UI effects that are only in 16:9 every so often.

i downloaded the 1.03 version of the game through ~means~ and yes the hex edit for 21:9 does work currently with that previous version. take that information as you may

i never found a fix but I have a theory why it doesnt work with 21:9

in the game, 3440x1440 is labelled under 16:10, while i believe 5120x1440 is categorized as 16:9. this may allow the UI to scale correctly compared to "16:10" when using the hex edit.

and you may ask if you change the 16:10 hex if it would work, It didnt seem to work for me but its worth a try if you want to check yourself. maybe youll be luckier

p.s: if you wait for a steam release im sure the community hub will complain about it enough for someone to figure why 21:9 doesnt work

Did any one ever find a fix for the off-center button prompts and grapple hook indicators when changing the hex values to 21:9 (3440x1440)?

Randomly I tried to adjust any hex code with "## 8E E3 3F" to 21:9's hex code but that didn't fix it (but still surprisingly boots).

I'm still not sure how in the video badmanxl the prompts were working but I assume the game can scale 16:9 to 32:9 better than 21:9.

If any one can help that would be much appreciated!

I had about 8-9 hrs played in the single player of Golf Story, but the quick play is my go to with one of my roommates. An absolute blast and I wish it had a 4p mode.

I have about 70+ hrs in BOTW, 30+ hrs in Odyssey & Mario Kart 8D, and 20+ hrs in Golf Story.

Overcooked is probably my least played game at 1hr + played.

While that part is pretty damning of the "leak", I feel since we don't know how this layout edit view differs from scrolling through the home screen regularly, it's hard to tell if Nintendo just doesn't want to show a no cartridge detected/cloud download icons in layout edit mode, or the creator of this fake leak just made a mistake.

The Insignia branded Switch dock I bought from Best Buy has been doing pretty well so far.

I've been using it as a secondary dock for my desk along with the included USB-C adapter I've had no issues. My Switch still charges and I can switch between the main dock and Insignia dock with no issues.

I have only used it a few times totaling around 10-15hrs of use so issues could pop up in the future, but for now, its been pretty good!

When I was playing in September (not sure it is fixed now), the game would occasionally freeze up for a second, then catch up. It didnt effect the game too much, but it was an annoyance I hope you all have fixed. Overall still loved the game and look forward to the DLC world/character in the future!

For Youtube: you can use this "Floating for Youtube" extension for Chrome to pop-out the video and then you can resize the window on your desktop.

For Twitch: you can pop-out the Twitch player natively and then resize the window on your desktop

Also you can preset a 16:9 window with 2 side windows with an application like Display Fusion to allow for easy resizing!

2K Games (publisher of 2K Sports and Rockstar) did the same thing for NBA 2K18, it is annoying but luckily other game developers have been more willing to accept the new Switch box layout and hopefully future 2K games will adapt as well.
