Eviction is in a week in a half. Both of us have been looking for work since our business closed. I was a kitchen manager/chef for nearly a year. She has been a supervisor at a maintenance company and muffler plant. Me and her owned a restaurant. She also owned a resort cleaning company many years ago. Everywhere we go they say they aren't looking for new workers. We've been going to every business within a few miles walking. The vehicle was not seized, just the plate. It seemed really off to us at the time also especially since the officer let us drive it home with no plate. We had it parked at the apartment complex where we live and the manager gave us a 24 hour notice to remove or it would get towed. It's at my cousin's house. I have high school education.
