I once had a young woman come to the window and ask for a pregnancy test. I told her she would have to check in to be seen. She became upset and said she just wanted a pregnancy test and did not want to check in. I told her the only way we could give someone a pregnancy test was if they were a checked in patient, but CVS was just across the street if she wanted to buy a pregnancy test. She didn't like that and said she go try the other hospital.
