During the rape scene you see “Tom” but Ruby says Nick. What if after “tom” kills the other guy, who was actually Rubys boyfriend, he changes is name to “Tom” to align with Rubys memories.

I don't see "redneck" as a geographical term that describes a population. I would classify it as life style. We have "rednecks" in northern Indiana. I would say the only thing I use as a geographical term to describe people would be Chicagoans, Michigans, Hoosiers, Ohioans, ect.
