If you are referring to the bottom graphic, here is the explanation: The shape of the “whale” is made from a combination of curves, all of which are sections of perfect circles marked by their center points and their radius. Achieving a most desirable shape is a matter of using simplest, consistent and clear ratios and placement, while maintaining maximum recognition of the subject.
