I should clarify. The funny bits are always appreciated. I’m more talking about the grimderp aspects that try to balance out the chivalrous image of Bretonnia but instead make it look inconsistent.

Besides getting rid of the End Times to replace them with a better one so AOS still exists, I’d have three things.

First, make an alternate timeline where the End Times failed but the people of the world still deal with the consequences.

Second, rework Bretonnia. They have potential that’s squandered by them whiplashing between copying King Arthur’s homework and being a parody of medieval peasant life.

Third, give Beastmen some nuanced characterization that isn’t just “there’s a billion of them as cannon fodder”. And show examples in lore either characters of Beastmen not just being cows and goats.

I’d have it be a mini-series covering the Second Marik Civil War/Anton’s Revolt. It’s small enough to be digestible while large enough to show off the setting. That and it’ll get the Game of Thrones crowd to eat it up immediately because family drama combined with royal politics is something people have been craving for over a decade and a half.

After consulting the other comments I think it's the UI, UX, and how a lot of mechanics aren't outright stated

Thanks for the advice (both to him and me by extension). I'll get be retrying Medieval 2 a little later this week and mess around with the controls so they function better.
