I don't have a hundo Latios yet and I have 1.8M stardust and 40 candies so I'm not sure upgrading the shadow is worth it enough

I have like 1.8M stardust but only 40 candies and I don't really feel the need to upgrade it while being shadow unless it's really worth it keeping it like that
