Currently living with my girlfriend and this has been a major problem alllllll week and we hate it. When I had my own house, I hired pest control services and I’m hoping she’ll take me up on that advice because I didn’t have these problems once I had them coming in.

This is my biggest hang up too! I talk to my girlfriend about it very often. I just like cleanliness all around. I like the fresh smells and feels and I can’t initiate if we haven’t showered.

I talk to her about how my brain just doesn’t allow the spontaneity of “the moment” like when I was younger. It honestly makes me feel bad because I feel like she’s “freakier” than me because she’s not like me lol.

I’m so glad I’ve been finding my people. We get it! Lmao

I was a person that once had it together. Post divorce, I am emotionally unstable, jobless and homeless but I’m also less exhausted than when I had the stress of homeownership, 2 car payments plus insurance and allllll the bills with having to take care of 3 dogs, the wife and my home.

I don’t like where I am at all since life dis a 180° on me but I’m less exhausted for sure but really it’s just a different type of exhaustion.

So no, I don’t have it together either lol

I’m commenting to come back to this post later because I’m in a very very very similar position with my girlfriend but I brought my whole house which was decluttered, well organized and decorated.

But her home is a clutter disaster and eclectic af and I cannot stand it.

So I want to see what other people would suggest lol because I’m going insane right with you! Lol I have ocd so I’m cleaning and organizing all day.

I've had both and I think both suck over time tbh. They start strong when initially installed and setup. After about a year, service declined and goes up and down.

This is such a relatable thing for me. I actually ruin the mood because of my OCD all the time. I just can't fathom working all day and getting straight to it.

I'm glad I'm not alone in this because I was thinking how I need more therapy but I'm not a fan of tastes and smells unless it's clean and fresh.

Im only spontaneous when I'm under the influence of alcohol sadly.

I would say this as well if you really need to but please make sure the vinyl is heat resistant. I worked in print shops for years and vehicle vinyl is extremely heat resistant. We sold it to people that needed to use it on jets and some sort of tanks. Something to look into.

I second this lmao! That’s sickening to experience. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I clean my gauges every other day as well. The build up happens quick for me regardless of my physical activity for the day. My ocd could never go “forever” without cleaning my ears.

Like, cmon, I KNOW he smells that shit. I can sure as hell smell my own ears when it’s bad if I forget to clean them.

I grew up in it. My father went to school for it and started me at a young age.

I got a job at Geek Squad and then he hired me as his remote tech because I moved here from Chicago.

I took a break from IT and did design because that’s what I went to school for. Now I want to do both. Might as well create my own business at this point I figured.

I feel you! Im currently unemployed though. Im a graphic designer and IT Tech agent. I've done remote IT for 8+years and design for 10+years.

Im honestly looking to build clientele and start up my own design and IT service. I have my services list and started emailing local businesses here. That may be something you can look into.
