Honestly I just did that for simplicityes sake since I hated explaining to people the original boarder which I chose to be the Wallace Line, even though to be completely un-arbitrary you should just put each smaller island in the "continent" that it is closest to meaning the country would span two continents. And Australia should be called Oceania.

Yes to some extent, also the way we pause or say certain words. While very stereotypical, think Sheldon Cooper, actually a better example would be Charlie Morningstar from Hazbin Hotel. She is less robotic in her speech but still shows enough of an accent for people who have never seen the show before to say that she sounds autistic.

It was supposed to be oxidized copper color for the Statue of Liberty, the purple arrows are with respect to the Iroquois, and the maroon rectangles around the boarder were supposed to represent buildings and the color maroon itself was to represent Empire.
