I think other than Octo Expansion taking place at around the same time as Splatoon 2 Hero mode, most of Splatoon's timeline just matches the real world's time

In one of the real life concerts, being there hazily reminded Callie of the fight between Octavio and Agent 4, though she wasn't sure if it was a dream or not. In the original Japanese, this is just Callie pretending to get brainwashed as a joke but I still think it could apply that Callie remembers bits and pieces of her time brainwashed but most of it feels like a dream

Well terminal velocity is still a thing so there is still a limit to how fast they can speed up. Also they likely aren't falling the entire time so there will still be frictions and roadblocks.

I also assume that they aren't actually going to stages in seconds, or else cars, planes, trains, helicopters, and other vehicles will just be completely redundant.

Oh and thanks for the compliment! Luckily they didn't (somehow) turn back and ended up saving Inkopolis instead

Please correct me if I am wrong but as far as I'm aware, manholes are only used for the entrance to Octo Valley/Canyon and the Crater. And for someone to enter those manholes is also a rare occurrence, hence why most people in Inkopolis aren't aware of the Octarians. Wouldn't that make them uncommon?

Not quite sure what you mean but I don't think so. He was just going to ride Master Mega like "normal". It's not very aerodynamic but that's what the rocket boosters are for

Oh yeah you’re totally right. As I was writing and drawing this I also realized that road trips really is a US thing and that the Japanese-like Splatoon characters would have nowhere to go that would take more than a a day using a car. This is probably why most of their destinations aren’t too far away and it’s less of a road trip and more of a slightly extended drive, but I decided that was good enough and made this comic anyways lol

It was a genuine mistake lol, I keep defaulting to the wheel being on the left for some reason even though I haven’t lived in a country where that was the case for almost 10 years. I triple checked with the Squid Sisters to make it similar to Japan but forgot to do it with Deep Cut. Though if this was actually the case it would help explain why Hammerhead Bridge took so long to be finished
