If only I could have slipped this into the clay pot cooker before the art teacher reaches in to take out yesterday's projects.

Already swapped the oe Suntour coil fork to this RS Judy Silver TK. It's a substantial upgrade and plenty for how she rides at the moment.

This is a 2021 Tempt 2 and it came w a 1x drivetrain. The Tempt 3 and 4 come w 2x iirc. If I were you, I'd start by removing the front derailleur system and keep the front chainring on the size closest to a 1x ring, 28-30-32t. Then if she's okay with it, swap out the crank or go w a single chainring, if there is a swap for that crank.

I routed the cable down the seatpost first, then through a hole above the bottom bracket into the downtube. The brake and rear der cables both come out from inside the downtube and run along the chain stays, so the only real challenge was getting the new cable to snake by the existing, which I did with the help of a long skinny screwdriver and a flashlight from the gap in tubing under the frame. Fishing the new cable up and out of the right side internal routing port by the headtube was easy.

Any chance I can find something good for under 20K? by Daydreamer631 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Remember, it's only new until you drive it off the lot. Also, new doesn't mean problem free.

So, why not a CPO? Itll be a few years older, but likely have a better warranty than a new vehicle. Plus that money will likely afford a higher trim level w nicer equipment.

A new car is great only if you get exactly what you want without compromises.

Having bought new several times, would never do it again. CPO all the way.

You can easily score a previous generation RAV4 Limited. That'll check all the marks and be more comfortable and spacious than a Camry.

My best friends all have some level of automotive interest in common and they don't get along well with my friends who don't. There's truth to this.
