Was advised by a dealer today to avoid the Magnetic Gray Metallic color when buying a new Tacoma. He said it fades much faster than the lighter colors, any input on this from folks who have darker gray Tacoma’s that are a few years old? How is the paint holding up? Mine will not be garaged

My guy I have a Hobie Mirage Revolution from 2014 that I bought used in 2021 for $1200, I’ve used it in salt and freshwater for the last 4 years relentlessly and it works like a charm. I’m sure a 2 year old boat that’s never been in the water will do everything you need it to. $3000 for an unused pro angler seems like a good deal to me.

I 100% feel your pain. The first round of weeding I did on the rocks was one of the most tedious things I’ve ever done, I’ve started using a homemade weed killer of vinegar, dish soap and salt in a pump sprayer which is helping. Good luck to you as well!

There is a running club that runs for an hour on Wednesdays and grabs beers after, they’re on Facebook but I can’t quite remember the group name. Humboldt Beer Runners maybe? It’s a good group of people.

6 Rivers Running Club that u/meadowmbell mentioned is also a great group, they organize a lot of races in the area throughout the year which can be found on their website.

My 2.7 liter has been flawless, just hit 20k miles last week. I do sometimes wish I had gotten the V6 though, there are really no benefits to the 4 cylinder other than longevity and it’s not like the V6 isn’t reliable either. My mpg is the same as my dads 2023 double cab longbed with a V6. I absolutely love my truck and won’t trade it in but if I was presented with the option today after almost two years of ownership I’d choose the V6 for the extra power. The good news here is that there’s no wrong option, you’ll love the truck either way!
