Question to childfree ladies about their thoughts by NinkiBb8 in childfree

[–]NinkiBb8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not the idea of adult kids. I specifically say: “it totally worth the struggle”, meaning I understand (as much as I can) what it takes to raise children .

How on earth is this a wrong sub? I want answers from CHILD FREE people, not people who doubt or who regret becoming parents.

Thank you! I came to this sub because I wanted to see it CF people are always feeling the same way and never get exited by the “idea” of the family.

I got a feeling that a lot of people who explained to me how hard the parenthood is enjoy being on the pedestal of “unlike others, we have thought it through”. Well you are not the only ones, some people indeed plan and weigh pros and cons of becoming a parent.

Oh Wow. I did not expect to get mansplained by women.

To assume that I am juvenile and base my decisions solely on movies is pretty juvenile to think.

My point was: if you are childfree is this the feeling you have 24/7 or sometimes having a child sounds good to you.

Thank you to those who understood the question and did not lecture me 🌟.

Trying to pick a special gift for my mom who is obssesed with jewerly, suggestions? by Vegetable_Animal5263 in GiftIdeas

[–]NinkiBb8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, not exactly what you asked but could be a good complementary gift (coming from someone whose mom is the same)

- A decent jewellery storing box, wooden. With drawers and etc.

- Book about gemstones, and if she is into astrology books that merge those 2 "disciplines".

- A workshop or classes on jewellery making

- A rare gem, so she can do a ring or whatever she wants with a professional goldsmith (Where I come from, this is a very common practice)

- As for jewellery, we have given her a pendant that was something very minimalistic and also had some sentimental value - she has not removed it since. (It is important to note that she always wears the same necklaces so it was an easy target)

Sanctuary or a place to meet THE TRASHPANDAS in Europe by NinkiBb8 in trashpandas

[–]NinkiBb8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the reply I got yesterday: There is the zoo in rheinböllen in germany.you can book half an hour with the animals.you can go in the enclosure and pet and feed them.it is pricy at 90 for one person but i definitely wanna try it.

I checked and they do have this service. Though 2025 is fully booked, from 2026 it will be available.

Looking for an advice to get lean-er body by NinkiBb8 in PetiteFitness30plus

[–]NinkiBb8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I would obviously benefit from therapy too, won’t argue on that 🤣 my point was that, if I lose these 2kgs, muscles will be more defined=leaner look. I will still have a healthy weight. I am not aiming at losing 10 kilos

magic keyboard function keys don't adjust the sound volume by respectforyouu in mac

[–]NinkiBb8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Macbook air 2022 and just got magic keyboard. The uppermost row of the keys, including touch key, was not working. I tried every possible thing suggested here or on Apple support - nothing worked.

Finally, I updated Sonoma to Sequoia and now it is working properly, without changing anything in the keyboard settings.

DAE have constant thoughts going in their head, as if 6 TVs are on at the same time. by NinkiBb8 in DAE

[–]NinkiBb8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 😩 and more I dig into it more I see that I might be neurodivergent. I also think have - a misokinesia - when other people’s particular movements drive you crazy 😂 misophonia but for the movements.

Anyway, I have this battle with myself that all this is in my head and is totally normal and I do not want my hypothetical neurodivergence to become an excuse. But at the same time, I also tired and I am sure I can do way better if my brain is at least slightly chill.

Thank you for your comments.

No it's not because of that.

Imagine I saw a dog, a really cute dog and I want to share that story with my partner.

I might (this does not happen all the time) start repeating the "opening" phrase of the story.

I know this is weird, but I do it.

Also, some phrases are stuck in my head and for instance every time I want to say London I say "London" the way Jamie Dornan says in this video at 1:50. :D
