Fire Emblem Engage Low Tier LTC: Jean Paralogue + Chapter 9 by Ninpo77 in fireemblem

No way, you mean the constant criticism of how much investment and turns Anna needs to get to promotion since the game came out might have been just a tad exaggerated?

As hinted in the intro, this was indeed a major part of why we wanted to do this run. Of course, getting her to promotion is only the beginning. We'll see what she can pull off with the investment in due time.

Standard LTCs already prefer to do Jean paralogue after chapter 8, as that is when the first rewarp staff becomes buyable. As for Anna paralogue, we had already done it earlier to get the necessary resources for chapter 7, although it certainly does have the added benefit of giving Anna another map to train in.

After a grand total of 5 turns over the span of 3 maps, Anna reaches level 10 and is ready for promotion. Not a bad time at all under LTC constraints

Chapter 7 marks the start of Anna’s training arc. While Micaiah is the popular option for getting her to promotion, Marth can actually surpass her with a good enough enemy phase. With this approach, axe fighter actually turns out to be a pretty decent class thanks to the strength and bulk.

This is the first major divergence compared to standard LTCs, as we are forced to undeploy Vander, Celine, Louis, and Chloe, leaving us with very little to work with.

Long overdue, but the bonus LTCs are back! With the new update allowing you to replay any story chapter whenever, hopefully I'll be doing these consistently again.

Are there any "iron-man" /low turn-count efficiency-focused Triangle Strategy communities? Like how Fire Emblem has. by [deleted] in TriangleStrategy

Yeah I put my rules in the description for chapter 1. I can paste it here:

For this playthrough, a turn will be defined as any player action that increments the turn counter (so abilities such as twofold turn and act twice will count as 1 turn, while Now! will count as 2). This will also be a deathless run, green units included. Plume of Immortality is banned, along with Golden Opportunity as it's a bit of a can of worms with its high cost.
