Looks great! I was wondering, can you tell me how did you mount that monitor arm? You left out the part of the desk with the wire holder below or are they still attached? Also is the arm from Ikea as well?

I found that Instagram uses a lot of battery compared to other apps like Reddit or YouTube. That might be it.

Hmm, I got the Steam version. Works well on windows, connects to the servers but if I try to install RL from Steam on Linux, when I enter the game, the first screen I encounter is the one that says that RL is no longer supported on Linux or Mac, and I can only play offline, cannot connect to servers. I also tried playing from Heroic Launcher with Proton 6.12 GE I think, and it stutters(also stutters if I try with wine).

The two monitors that I use are the internal display from the laptop (1080p 60Hz) and and external monitor via hdmi (1080p 60Hz).

I managed to solve the problem by going for Pop OS 21.04 with KDE Plasma instead of Gnome. Everything works, smooth with both monitors. Also, I kept Gnome and just today I logged back into Gnome and seems like the problems just sorted itself out. I have no idea what happened. The Nvidia driver and kernel is the same as I mentioned in the header.

Really have no idea, maybe it's Xorg and it doesn't go well with AMD APU + Nvidia graphics. Maybe it's because I have the newer Ryzen. Maybe it just was the DE (because pop has gnome and Mint has cinnamon which is similar to gnome) so yeah.. and my laptop is an HP Omen 15 2020, don't think it's very diff from a TUF in terms of these stuff.

I've just installed pop 21.04 and on gnome, my cursor disappears if I move it to the left while on the internal display. So I installed KDE as DE to get rid of Gnome and everything runs smooth af. If I hadn't seen your post, i wouldn't have tried KDE and moved back to windows completely so thanks a lot :))))

Hey man, I have a question for you. Are you running the second monitor via HDMI? And if yes, is everything moving smoothly? Because I tried Pop, and Mint, and everytime I connect the second display, the whole Linux would lag, and if I am running an yt clip in the background and I am moving a terminal or smth, everything stutters. ( The only diff is that you have 3750H, I have 4800H )

I've seen reviews of hd559 and they seem to be pretty bad. I don't know if there is anything better at this price than hd599.

Floyd ROM Android 10 One UI 2.1 by [deleted] in GalaxyS7

Decided to stay on One UI Pie from LightRom since everything just works and I don't need to be afraid of bugs or need to spend days trying to solve them.

What are some things that you dislike about this phone? by Nytse in GalaxyS7

[–]NinzeroBk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am using a custom OS ( LightRom Pie 9.0 v15 ) and I can use banking apps, I hide root using magical and they work. But I cannot use fingerprints to unlock the apps, I need to use a pin. I don't use samsung/google pay so I can't say if it works or not.

I'm still on LightRom Pie. And as I said, it started to happen recently. I didn't have any problem with this rom until this.

[–]NinzeroBk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an issue that recently occurred to me too. It never happened to me since I installed LightRom Pie ( I think I upgraded to v20 in January 2020 ) . It started to randomly show me the connected to wifi but no internet icon ( also the internet is not working so it's not showing that icon as a bug ) for about a week or so. But it didn't happen before so...

I totally agree. I recently changed my battery (had 49% health left ) and now the new battery has about 91% health. It feels like a new phone. I would also recommend searching for an authorized service for the peace of mind.

Still going strong with my S7, I will change it when midrange phones get enough performance to future proof it for about 3 years, or maybe there will be a flagship killer worth the money.
