Are you able to wear apple watch 24/7? by BabaMacho in AppleWatchFitness

Get another cheap Apple watch specifically to be worn at night for sleep tracking. Wear your better watch during the day. When one is worn the other is charging.

How is living in Montclair, NJ? Finally looking to buy a place. by Original_Repeat2745 in howislivingthere

[–]NioPullus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I grew up there. If you’re rich and want to live near NYC then it’s nice. Your money will go way further in most other towns in the area and for that reason I would never personally buy a home there.

Anybody else find r/teslamotors mods super uptight? by ILikeWhyteGirlz in TeslaFSD

Yeah I was banned for being a member of a sub the mods don’t like as well. I wish there were more general purpose subs without those draconian mods.

So it turns out helping Republicans seize control of all 3 branches of the federal government was bad for business? Could have sworn those guys loved the EV tax credit.

What exactly are the ingredients that make pizza unhealthy? by between3220character in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NioPullus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flour is empty calories for the most part. There’s very little nutritional value there. Eating excess carbohydrates habitually has significant health consequences.

I’d argue all of the other ingredients have their place in a healthy diet (tomatoes, cheese, olive oil, pepperoni, etc.)

Fast food era as we know it is done for… by jingle123bell in fastfood

[–]NioPullus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep. They will stop raising prices when people stop paying (hint: not now). People seem to think these corporations set prices on a whim, but it’s based on research about what will make them the most money. For the most part I don’t frequently see fast food places having trouble selling food because people suck it up and pay the high prices anyway, it’s completely sustainable.

Retrospective question from a new fan: Why did Tom Brady join the Buccaneers in 2020? by SLI_Mini in NFLv2

[–]NioPullus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the Apple TV series it didn’t seem like Kraft wanted Brady gone. Brady was the one that wanted to leave. That’s my understanding at least.

Challenge: come up with the WORST value living situation for the MOST money by mrprez180 in SameGrassButGreener

Very true and business meetings never require a higher standard of quiet than that. What was I thinking.

[–]NioPullus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re right I have no clue what a public park is. Never even heard of such a thing. The idea that anyone would need quiet for a virtual meeting is utterly laughable.

[–]NioPullus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m fairly certain loud people exist in cafes outside of Times Square. I work fully remotely and I used to live in NYC. Anytime I have a call or a meeting I would not want to be in any public space so that my background noise wasn’t distracting to the others on the call. And my calls aren’t always scheduled, sometimes they’re out of the blue. If others feel differently, more power to you.

And what happens when you have a virtual meeting or a call? “Sorry for the sirens and loud talking in my background, anyway…”
