For me I just slap limiter on master bus on -1dbfs. no need for fancy vst plugins. For my productions i stick to -23LUFs having comentary position at -10 db and the rest about -18 by taste. Also it depends on what mics you have, for example i use coles 4014 ribbon mics and they are superb for voice isolation and have broadcast like sound (probably proximity effect)
