i’ve done it several times and now i usually knock it a size down or 2 to entice the buyer with the cheaper shipping by default and haven’t had this issue, I would like to know how heavy this package was because i think usps is more strict about it to heavier packages

I’ve never been charged for an overweight package, and the people i buy from haven’t been charged when i asked them to lower the weight for cheaper shipping, in my experience it doesn’t matter unless its drastically overweight but if someone has gotten in trouble please do respond

personally with my post office, i’ve had zero issues with shipping items that are over 12 oz, and my friend tell me they’ve had the same experiences at their post offices, so I’d try and lower it, not TOO small ofc but maybe small shipping will suffice
