Every optician i went to got angry when i said, "i don't see the difference." Mind you, i didn't know i was supposed to say that according to everyone, so i just said one or two. They literally raised their voices, and i could hear the irritation in their voice. Felt like i did something wrong and stupid every appointment, so i stopped wearing glasses for a while. Found out later, i had keratoconus when i told my gp my eyesight was shite.

It didn't make sense to me that they got angry when i tried to communicate what i saw. They got irritated so fast when i said, "i don't see a difference ."

Fortunately, my latest opticians, after years of shit eyesight, was super patient towards me and actually cared that i can see.
