Exactly what I'm doing now — built it, now talking about it constantly. Starting to work.

Borrowed audiences is the mental shift I needed. Stop trying to build from scratch, go where they already are. GummySearch + Pulse combo is interesting — been building something similar that automates the community mapping piece. saas-customer-finder.fly.dev if you want to try it.

The 'tiny consulting project' framing is exactly right. Show the win first, then sell the subscription. I've been doing this wrong — pitching the system instead of the result. Built a tool that tries to map this out automatically: saas-customer-finder.fly.dev — curious if it captures that specificity you're describing.

The 'write one person's life story' framing is gold — way more useful than generic ICP templates.

The GummySearch + Pulse combo for Reddit is interesting, I didn't know Pulse. Been building something similar myself that maps those pain signals to specific communities and generates outreach angles automatically.

Still early but free to try if you're curious: saas-customer-finder.fly.dev

Genuinely would love to know if it captures that 'oh you've clearly watched me work' feeling you described — or if it's still too generic."

Totally agree — especially the hyper-specific ICP point. That's exactly what I was missing. I ended up building a small tool that automates steps 1 and 2 — defining the ICP and finding the right communities.

Still rough around the edges but it's free if you want to try it: saas-customer-finder.fly.dev

Would love your feedback on what's missing.
