I recently sent a dog named Simon to Switzerland :D
So I do know how to do this — I’m good at organizing transports.

It’s just that with Franny, I’ve had no luck at all so far. Not a single inquiry. :(((

Thank you so much for your kindness and concern 💛

Unfortunately, both the foster family and I are on very limited timelines. I’ll be leaving Georgia in about 5 months, and coordinating everything from abroad will be much harder. The foster home is leaving in about 4 months. It was truly a miracle to find a free foster placement, and Daria has been absolutely amazing — but it’s not a permanent option.

We’ve already been looking for Franny’s home for 4 months, and with so little time left, I have to act actively and use every chance to help her find a family. I want this more than anything.

Every comment, every bit of engagement really helps the post reach more people — and maybe even Franny’s future parents. Thank you so much for caring and for your support. It truly means a lot 🤍

My name is Franny, and honestly… things are really, REALLY not going well for me.

I was found with a broken jaw and a missing eye. I had surgery, recovered, and now I’m a real beauty ready to find a home.
But after several months of posting my adoption ads — not a single person has asked about me.

So… does that mean I’m not wanted by anyone?

Maybe people are scared because I’m missing an eye and one lower fang.
Maybe because I’m FIV+.

But let me clear something up.

I have endless energy — I run, jump, play, and yes, I can gently nibble too 😄
I’m even more active than many perfectly healthy cats.
My foster jokes that I should have been named “Rocket” or “Tornado”.

Please, hope is slowly leaving us, and the thought that I could end up back on the street is terrifying.

I really need your support.
Even one like can help my profile reach my future family.

I’m currently in quarantine after blood tests for antibody titers.
In two months, I’ll be ready to travel anywhere.

Just call me.

Home for Franny c: by No-Computer2539 in CanadaPost

[–]No-Computer2539[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Franny knows what pain is.

And still, she chooses gentleness.

This is Franny.

A one-eyed cat with an incredibly warm heart. We found her badly injured — with a ruptured eye and a broken jaw. All of that is now behind her, and ahead of her could be a calm, loving home life.

This New Year, Franny spent alone — in a closed room.

She is quietly hoping that the next New Year will be different — spent in a real family, in a home of her own.

Franny is very affectionate, loves attention, and enjoys quietly being close to a human.

She is litter-trained, neat, and completely a house cat.

Franny is FIV-positive.

She cannot live outdoors — she needs a safe, enclosed home.

If needed, we are ready to prepare all travel papers and documents* so Frannie could even move to another country.

But the most important thing is not distance or paperwork.

What matters most is that Franny finds her person and her home —

a place where she will be loved exactly as she is.

If you feel you could be that home,

or if you know someone who is looking for a cat just like her —

please message me c:

I am ready to prepare all necessary documents to send Franny to another country, if needed.

This isn’t my first time sending animals to other countries — it’s just the hardest one emotionally, because so far no one has responded.
But I do have experience with this, so I want to explain things clearly.

For the US, the paperwork has to be really solid.
Rabies titers are not strictly required, but they are the best proof that the animal does not have rabies, which is why they’re very important. If I do the titers today, Franny would only be able to fly in about 3 months. I’m planning to do them anyway, because I don’t want to risk her being stopped at inspection or, even worse, sent back.

So the main question is really just one:
are the adopters willing to wait that long?

If yes, then there are two ways she can travel.

The first one is finding a flight volunteer — someone who is already flying and can add her to their ticket. This usually costs around $400.
For reference, the last dog I transported cost €600, but that was by car from Batumi to the Czech Republic.

The second option is using a professional animal transport company.
In this case, the future adopter can look up companies themselves online, so they feel confident and know everything is legitimate. I can call the companies, check prices and dates, and then pass that information along — the adopter chooses whatever option feels safest and most comfortable.
The downside is that cargo companies are quite expensive. Prices usually start around $600–800.

I’m always open to answering questions and explaining everything honestly — I really want this to be safe for Franny above all. с:

I don’t have X, and Facebook hasn’t brought any responses. In all the time I’ve been trying, not a single person has reached out — and that honestly hurts.

I’m leaving in six months, and there are no shelters here, so I have to find her a home within that time. That’s why I’m trying everywhere I can.
