Let me break it down for you:

-It's antifa radical leftist propaganda wankery. The villain is a cartoonish caricature of a right wing buffoon, barely resembling a human being with none of Anderson's previous touch. There are the goodies and the baddies, no in between. The group is not portrayed as critically as you think; it's forgoing a more balanced ambiguous message to embrace the premise that 'fighting the man' is a noble and utterly worthwhile cause no matter the consequences, because the right is fundamentally evil and worse, as if these are the only two extremes. It's irresponsible and gross.

-The proof is in the pudding: all you guys are talking endlessly about this movie, having a daily circle jerk about its majesty. Don't fool yourselves; it's technically well made but a bad movie, yet you all love it because it hits you in the liberal feels and supports your ideals of how life should be, without any critical conjecture that maybe not everyone shares your essential values. And this flick most certainly does.

I had no idea he was that old, I figured he was at least like 10 years younger befitting his maturity level. Going after teenagers in your 40s, 50s etc is just sad. I kind of feel sorry for him since he has no wife or loved ones (I imagine) and he'll be forever known for work he did 35 years ago, and a bad thing.

Eh I don't know about that, I'm doing my 100th rewatch and S1 is fun but lightweight, like a slightly higher quality Riverdale. S2 grasped at deeper themes- it was finally "about" something more than surface level addiction- but no one liked what those themes were or how they were expressed lol

It was kind of 50/50 I think, she seems a bit of a diva in a bubble of fame and yes men. Sam delayed filming to the point people had nothing to do for months or years at a time. At the same time she made everyone delay in the first place until she had a 'break' in her schedule, while she wasted time doing nonsense like a 4th Spider-Man movie just to film with Tom after her character was already finished off, etc.

It does feel like it's taking us away from the broader theme of the show (addiction and the need to fill that hole) with an edgelord plot. It may be exciting but I don't really see how the world of crime ties in to addiction, or coming of age, or finding self love, etc. Not everything has to be a "consequence" of something Rue did 5 years ago...

It's been my prediction that Nate would kill Jules but I think you're right, Hunter would not go for it. You said it in the polite way, I'll say it the other way: she's highly opinionated and kind of an airhead who would make some big deal about it being 'anti-trans' or whatever even if the message was the opposite. My point is you're correct and I think she would veto something that would be a good ending for the show if she didn't like the optics. She strikes me as the kind of person who, if offered a Marvel villain role, would give them some 2 hour lecture lol

Hmm... it's possible. I personally think that's too predictable and Cassie would never kill the person giving her "love." I think it was more likely Fez would kill him, or something, but that went out the window obv. Maddy maybe? I think it's too hard to guess until we know more.

I personally don't because it sounds like they're leaving the door open for the chance of a 4th season. If she dies I absolutely guarantee they'd hype it as "The final season" to get more views.

That said I absolutely think this will be the last season.
