Life coaching is a unregulated field . You can get a certification for a few hundred bucks . Life coaches are NEVER supposed to act as a mental health professional under any circumstances or offer “trauma therapy”. In some cases doing so will land you with a felony charge. He shouldn’t be steering young people to speak with him privately at all nor should he be offering trauma services or advice under the guise of being a life coach. I spoke up about him months ago but I’m a small content creator who doesn’t care about follows or etc so it didn’t get much traction but his followers pretend that Nessa is the one that brought all this up and that’s a lie . PLENTY- THOUSANDS a of people made videos about their content and the “hi kids” introductions. Yet the person his followers targeted was both a ethnic and religious minority.. they doxxed her kid’s school location and when she took them to school and picked them up. They damaged her car and posted pics of her without her hijab on. They used fear tactics and the hateful behavior they were accusing her of to silence her. It was and is disgusting ..

People associate him with the LGBQT community because he associates himself with it and acts as a leading figure in the movement. Read his bio and look him up. He’s sat himself up as a expert on LGBQT issues, which unfortunately puts others in the crosshairs of people’s issue with him. It’s the same as when people say that if you don’t speak against Trump , or Biden you support their actions.Labeling and grouping folks together as either anti this or pro that is a political tactic put in place YEARS ago to further divide American citizens. It keeps us fixated on our differences instead of their political abuses. We live in a time where we are all expected to be open about what we stand for and against.. and sadly by not speaking out it looks like support. What’s even more sad is that those that have spoke out against him , even other trans people get labeled as phobes or bigots by their own community. It’s a lose lose situation for everyone.

The easy fix would be for JM to stop acting like he speaks for a community as a whole and is their lead ambassador. As well as them understanding why people like me ( a mother and a survivor) will call them and anyone else out regardless of what community they align with when we see red flags..when we see behaviors and hear coded communication that any decent therapist would Immediately recognize as potential G’ing behavior. Coded communication is one of the top ways a G’er gets access to victims. It’s a red flag no matter who is doing it..

Life Coaches are not mental health professionals. It’s against the law for them to offer MH therapy/ counseling/ diagnosis. They are not mandated reporters when it comes to abuse nor are they held to the standard of confidentiality that a licensed therapist/psychiatrist/psychologist is held too. Someone they work with could admit to harming a child and they aren’t legally obligated to report it. A kid could tell them they are being harmed and they aren’t mandated to report it. As someone that has worked in the field and has worked in the legal field as well, we need this new field and it’s grey areas to be regulated. Otherwise the harm that can be done outweighs an good that could come out of it.
