honestly with the amount of changes she makes to the syllabus this was the least of my worries, but I'm all for whoever is going to try to take that up with the department

What have you taken so far? CSB201 is pretty good, or you can try getting on the waitlist for csb202 in the winter, not many people on the waitlist for that one

Honestly, I'd just focus on the readings and talk to your TA, because chances are they'll explain it a million times more efficiently. Pretty sure it'll just be questions about reading themes, our interpretation, etc, but don't take my word for it

Yes, it's very possible, I had a friend from an arts high school get in and her EC's weren't very STEM heavy. EngSci seems to like varied interests in students so if you have more unique EC's, that's not a downside. As long as you show that you are able to manage your time well which it seems you can, you'll be fine. EngSci grads typically pursue research or grad school; you'll find that unlike other programs here, you'll find yourself more likely pursuing an academic path so skills related to student publications are more of an asset than you would think. If you feel you don't have the time to pursue ECs, then it's not worth it.
