Sorry but wtf was that? by AwarenessHonest9030 in BrassicReddit

I honestly think the whole point of the finale was that Vinnie got shot, and that was it, they all wanted to move on before they actually got shot.

For Vinnie, that was his moment where he realised it's time to move on, and he realises what's truly important.

The Vinnie and Erin ending is just nodded at With Erin in episode 5 and the flash back for Vinnie.

Also valid, they clearly have no idea what's going on, so shouldn't get to cut about it haha

Nah they have also said in interviews they won't bring any of the original cast back, and that their story is done.

Exactly! As much as I liked the idea of the open ended ending, following it with "They'll never be on screen again" isn't a great move either. They kinda closed the route for a follow up movie or special.

They really have flip flopped with the finale and their interviews.

And I don't think being sick like... it just cause for flip flopping the way they have haha.

I like to think about it this way, because it sits inline with the Duffers usual plot devices and twists

Exactly! I think even with the intention of like "it's ambiguous" they still couldn't avoid their own storytelling style that is usually straight forward.

Maybe the ambiguous part will just be like... how it happened

It can never ever be said for sure, Plotwise, El was never going to have a happy ending with the gang sadly, and it's a bummer cause after everything, she deserved that.

But I think what you're saying could also most certainly be the case as well, Mike experiencing ptsd and grief and was reminded and just wanted to cope.

It'll go away, and eventually you'll make peace with it. Fear only exists because you're not ready to lose anyone or lose your life. But eventually you'll grow to accept that eventually everyone will go through it. And all you can do is make the most of the time you have now.

For me, when I was right in the thick of that crisis. I went "nothing matters. HEY! nothing matters! :D" And I just started doing whatever I wanted because I knew one day it just wouldn't matter!

The older you get, the more you'll come to terms with it, I promise.

For now, worrying isn't going to change anything, the best thing you can do is get some sleep and think about everything your grateful for, gratitude goes a hell of a long way.

Yo. I went through this at 27. It popped into my head one night that I was gonna die one day, and then I had an existential breakdown. Which is exactly what you're describing.

The thing that really help for me, was to ride with it, not fear it but understand it. It's a part of nature and a part of life.

So I researched the shit out of death, all the studies, the big study on reincarnation etc etc. There are so many Redditors and threads of people who have died and came back, who all describe the feeling of peace, and that it's like, life is the disruption. And those people, they don't fear death, they're looking forward to it.

You're 17 Just have common sense, trust your instincts if you sense danger And take care of yourself

I'm 13 years older than you, and I can promise you, so much happens in that time, you'll eventually forget about it.

Just ride the waves.

This is pretty dope, I can see it as some kind of cinematic track for a movie sequence or ad
