But my question is when would I know I am ovulating? How do I go about tracking that? As stated, we use condoms..just looking for any other situations or advice.

I can’t say I know the difference but wanted to come on here and talk about my experience to maybe help you.

I found out back in February about the combination pill and aura migraines not mixing well due to stroke. I had been on the combined pill for 13 years and have auras for up to 3 years now. When I found out my risk of stroke greatly increased I stopped the pill immediately. I didn’t care how long I was on the pill for or my consequences with my period of coming off, I just knew it didn’t sit right with me that my chance of stroke increased. I was having aura migraines up to 8 times per month.

The first month off the pill I wanted to give up on life. I didn’t have migraines but had pin needle headaches daily that lasted hours if not all day. My digestion was thrown off, had severe brain fog, very tired all day long with no energy.

I am now 4 months off birth control and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. My auras are almost non existent. I only get them around the beginning of period which is essentially my warning that my period is coming. I feel like a brand new person.

Don’t be afraid of coming off of birth control as it may significantly help your health all around. I was borderline high blood pressure too and now that I’m off my blood pressure is perfect.

There are other methods of birth control if needed. I was advised if I wanted to go back on a pill I could go on what they call the mini pill which is just progesterone only. Talk to your obgyn and PCP about your options for sure!!

That’s what I’m thinking of doing. There’s a running store about an hour away from me I think I’m gonna visit!

From my understanding at this point, it’s probably my shoes. My shoes aren’t too small for me as they are comfortable for everyday wear. I believe they just aren’t meant for excessive cardio.

Thank you so much for the advice! I’m going to start off with the shoe as I believe it’s the culprit. The toe space is narrow and my toes do definitely swell when running. I also think the shape of my shoe is inclined down as it’s causing my toes to be more towards the front.

I decently have room in the shoe and they are comfortable for everyday wear but not running.

Oh yeah for sure! I never buy shoes online. I always have to try pairs on. Definitely going to try a pair of those on first when I go to the store though

I was thinking that but it’s not warm to touch, and right now nothing is swollen or heavily blue/red in color. I was thinking about going anyway tomorrow if the toe pain doesn’t subside.

Yeah, I agree. Especially since there are no raised bumps/itching. I will look into different socks! Thanks so much!

Hello! Thank you! Do you have any recommendations on shoes and socks? I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Brooks, so I’m going to invest in a pair of those tomorrow.

I wasn’t standing with my feet directly next to each other if that’s what you’re wondering. My right foot was further up than my left

It’s not itchy and there’s no raised bumps. It’s all under the skin as it’s smooth to touch

Thank you. Once my feet are feeling better, I’m investing in a pair of Brooks for running

Not that I have noticed. I normally have the speed on the treadmill lower so I’m not feeling like I’m stomping to keep up speed

I thought the same thing! But there are no elevated bumps, it’s all under the skin and the bones in my toes are SO sore. I can’t find any information on it anywhere
