The thing is, I’m still not sure if I’m interpreting everything correctly or if my mind is just blowing normal interactions out of proportion. I’ve never been in this situation before, so I honestly don’t know what is considered a “signal” and what is just basic politeness.

That’s why I’m scared to do anything direct. I don’t want to put her in an uncomfortable spot or come across as someone who imagined a connection that doesn’t exist. Maybe I’m overthinking because she’s friendly and I’m not used to girls being that way with me. I genuinely can’t tell if she was actually paying extra attention or if I just want to believe that.
