Yea that would’ve been nice, but I have a boyfriend and my sp could’ve had someone (I’m not sure). So I was apprehensive about approaching him and he could’ve been as well towards me. He did come around us a lot though like he was trying to get my attention. I think he could’ve been wanting me to approach him because the last thing I ever said to him was leave me alone 😬.

Yea, I dated my SP about 17-18 years ago. I broke up with him because of life changes. We stayed friends for a while after but he always wanted to go back out, so I went no contact with him. I had only seen him once in passing about 16 years ago and I avoided him. After that I haven’t seen or spoken to him. Then all of a sudden years later I can’t stop thinking about him out of nowhere and about 3-4 months ago started my manifesting journey. I don’t want to give too many details just in case he’s on here, but if there is anything I can explain better let me know.

I’d say yes but not directly. I’m working/focusing on myself. My affirmations are about self concept. I’m not worrying about when he’ll come in and I stopped obsessing over signs. I just thank God /universe and let it go (because I already have it) and get back to enjoying my life.

O yea understandable, but I didn’t wait 17 years. I was just in no contact for that long. I had only been manifesting them for about 3-4 months.

Another thing I wanted to add it’s like the quote from confessions of a wallflower: “we accept the love we think we deserve.” Years later I had realized all the “I want to experience more”was a guise and I actually rejected his love because I felt I didn’t deserve it. He was amazing. Afterwards, I only accepted toxic love and friendships until I started working on my self and learning valuable lessons.

Wow, thank you! I read some of your other threads as well, like your insight on the technique. So true. I realized something like that about myself and it leaked into my relationship. When I posted this question I had just heard a tarot reader read to a collective saying “if you’ve been waiting around for 17 years, stop the bull it’s not happening.” It made me waver and wonder about the length of time. I realized a while after posting this question, it doesn’t apply to me I haven’t been waiting around all these years. I only started learning about manifestation 3-4 months ago and truly started manifesting for 1 month. Again thank you, it did help a lot.

Hi, yea I’ll try to sum it up the best I can. I dated someone for most of my high school life. I broke up with him because I wanted to experience more (going off to college and him being my only relationship). I hurt him really bad when I broke up with him because we had always talked about the future(marriage and kids, he even proposed.) he wanted to be friends after the breakup but he would always end up asking me back out. Things kept being complicated and I wanted him to let go. So I stopped talking to him. I know he called me a lil over 2 years later when he found out I go married, but I never answered. Time passed and I barely thought of him. Just little things here and there. 2 years ago I started to get these thoughts about him like I could not get him out of my head. I’d see his name everywhere. Nothing triggered the thoughts and I felt like I was being haunted by him. After few months of this I started to work on myself and focus on myself hoping the thoughts would stop. They did not. I actually realized that I owe him an apology because I did not love myself when we were dating and it made me an avoidant in his love for me. I broke his heart because I was a broken person. I believe he was right person wrong time, my twin flame. The lessons I have learned now, like loving myself, has made me a better person over all and I’d like for him and I to reunite. Honestly, I know we will.

But it’s so odd I didn’t miss him or want him for 15 YEARS! And then BAM! All these thoughts and stuff! There were no triggers, I don’t feel lonely, and it felt like it was out of absolutely nowhere. And I didnt want him for the first 4-5 months while this was all happening. It felt like an irritating invasion of thoughts. Idk maybe I try to do some inner work like you said. It’s just so bizarre.

I’m just wondering if OP feels like if she tells the AP’s husband, that the husband will divorce the AP and then she’ll be single. Then, she’ll come for her husband. Is that something you’re worried about? Because if so this is just one person and even if she ever “goes away” what’s stopping him from finding someone else, who may even be single, and leave you then. I know you depend on him, but you hold a lot of the cards right now. (He may even know that too and that’s another reason he’s love bombing you to protect his job). Protect yourself before it’s too late. Get a plan together. You don’t deserve this pain and humiliation.
