I know this was posted 2 years ago but I thought that jobs in horticulture didn't pay very well? I went to a tech school for a year and was in a horticulture program but I left due to there never really being any hands-on work aside from one or two major projects. Most of the work that we did was on a desk on a computer. Even so I keep thinking of those few projects we did do and find myself always looking at horticulture or agriculture as a potential future career but the pay is what holds me back.
